Account Manager

We’re a thriving and growing brand and digital creative agency looking for a dynamite account manager to join our high-energy team.

Position Summary:

The  Account Manager will be responsible for managing multiple (10-15) client accounts in a growing agency environment. We are looking for someone who has experience in an agency setting and marketing experience. Duties include serving as the clients’ primary point of contact, establishing goals and timelines for each project, providing strategic guidance to build relationships, and coordinating with internal resources to ensure all objectives are achieved on time and on budget. Position Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years’ experience at a creative, digital or marketing agency
  • Passion for great work, effective marketing, and the process + strategies which drive it
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and brand identity
  • Track record of successful web design and development projects
  • Reverence of multitasking as an art form
  • Clear, concise, direct communication style
  • History of client growth and profitability
  • Strength in building relationships across clients, internal team and external vendors
  • Vested interest in growing an agency and contributing to its culture
  • Experience in project management and collaboration softwares a plus (COR,  Basecamp, Bugherd, Invision)

Essential Functions:

  • Guides client projects both large and small simultaneously and autonomously
  • Takes accountability and ownership of all client relationships (regardless of scale)
  • Provides brand management with support from the Director of Accounts and Strategy and Creative Director to foster strategic partnerships with clients which create additional opportunities
  • Coordinates with internal team members to ensure that project requirements, scope and deliverables are understood and that deadlines are met on time and with consistency and accuracy
  • Constantly communicates with clients and provides best-in-class service to meet their needs
  • Proactively identifies, manages, communicates, and mitigates risks to timing, scope and budget
  • Mentors direct reports in growing Brand Management team with genuine care for their career growth and development
  • Works with business development team to create proposals, budgets and timelines
  • Partners with strategic and creative teams to develop go-to-market plans, briefs and agency POVs to drive client success
  • Ensures that the agency delivers all components of a give scope of work while also being watchful for over-delivery (scope creep)
  • Guides and directs solutions for any project-related issues that arise
  • Manages budgets and projects within our project management system
  • Monitors and proactively reports financials for each client to senior leadership on a regular basis
