Senior PHP Developer

We're a growing full-service design firm looking for an exceptional Senior PHP Developer to join our high-energy team and contribute to the design for our client base of and high-visibility business-to-business and consumer brands.

The ideal candidate will be versatile, a team player, organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should be self-motivated and will be required to work both individually and with other team members.

Requirements:

3-5 years of PHP (4/5) and MySql development

Working knowledge of Relational Database Concepts

Ability to design and extend database schemas to meet new client requirements

Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

Solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP)

Experience administering LAMP environments

Strong knowledge of XHTML / Web standards

Strong communication skills

Ability to work both individually and with a team

Ability to work within tight deadlines

Ability to work with a team at a project planning level

Bonus Points for the following:

Experience with MAGENTO, WORDPRESS, DRUPAL

Experience with ecommerce platform integration

Ability to re-factor open source code

JavaScript, Java, DHTML/XHMTL, AJAX, Flash.

Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux

Ability to integrate with web service APIs (REST, XML-RPC, RSS, etc)

Previous experience in a web design agency (please provide details and reference)
