OVERVIEW
Special Olympics began as a backyard summer camp for people with intellectual disabilities and has become a global movement changing lives and attitudes for more than 40 years. Founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver changed the world for the better like few others in history. With a vision all her own, she saw beyond every horizon to create new opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
After Mrs. Shriver's passing in 2009, Jacob Tyler was enlisted by Special Olympics National Headquarters in Washington DC to develop an annual report celebrating her legacy. In the past, Special Olympics had never produced a professionally designed Annual Report for their board, shareholders, and investors to review. Jacob Tyler jumped at the chance to work with the organization to create a colorful, illustrated, easy to read, and thorough report to reference Special Olympic's 2009 growth and successes.
