08.20.06 - Outer Banks Day Spa Hires San Diego Firm for Image Facelift

San Diego, CA - Diva Day Spa in the Outer Banks of North Carolina chose San Diego-based Jacob Tyler Creative Group to create a new image for their spa, Web site and branding for their new product lines. The spa is the only one of its kind in the region, and owner Stephanie Mikos felt Jacob Tyler Creative Group could create the look and feel their East Coast clientele craved.

"We reviewed several agencies, but nothing clicked. Our new neighbor was Coastal Provisions Market and we really loved what they were doing with their brand development. We asked for their agency and they referred us to Jacob Tyler. We knew immediately that we were a good fit for each other," Mikos recalled.

"Although they were initially renowned as a hair salon and evolved into a spa, most vacationing clientele knew nothing of their history, so we needed to present them as always having had this trendy, upscale image," explained Creative Director Les Kollegian. "Our next task will be developing identity and packaging for their extensive product line, including Diva Day Spa-ware, soaps, moisturizers and exfoliants. They are a driven, ambitious company and I am equally driven in making them a destination spa competitive with any big city spas," Kollegian added.
