Creative Director
For Les Kollegian, good design is more than a profession, it's a passion. He holds a Masters in Communications Design from the University
of Baltimore and has more than 15 years of experience designing marketing campaigns. Les shares his enthusiasm for design principles through
the weekend seminars he has taught, the customized courses he instructs for some of his corporate clients, and through volunteer activities
such as having acted as a volunteer art therapist for nationally renowned Children's Hospital in Washington DC. His forward-thinking
visions for digital design and technology have provided the creative direction for established major brands in the digital marketplace.
It was a visit to San Diego in 1995 that inspired him to save up some funds and move to Southern California. There, he became the Creative Director for Echolink Interactive, a San Diego interactive media agency.
In 2000, he set out on his own to start a boutique design firm. Now, when he is not busy working for one of his many
corporate customers, Les unwinds by playing with his son (Jacob Tyler), speeding down the slopes on his snowboard, and trying valiantly to
score below 90 on the golf course.
Les is a member of the AIGA and speaks regularly at design conferences and universities on the topics of Web Design, Creative Strategy, Marketing,
and Usability. His clients have ranged from start-up companies to Fortune 500 firms, including America Online, Intel, Gateway, and Qualcomm.
His list of satisfied customers also includes US Playing Cards, Fox Television, Chili's Restaurants, and The American Fertility Association.
