Jose Alonso

Creative Director

Jose began his career as an architectural designer, which molded his fine-tuned attention to the smallest of details. This meticulous attention to all aspects of a design project eventually led to Jose opening his own interactive branding firm in 2007.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, Jose grew upon his architectural training and began his career in graphic design, first at a graphic communications company in Mexico City, and then as Associate Creative Director at a marketing agency in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Jose offers clients a unique eye for design and craftsmanship, enabling him to develop distinctive print, multimedia, and environmental design solutions across a broad spectrum of industries and business segments. At Jacob Tyler, he is focused on the integration of brands and technology, using his passion for both to deliver the best technological and strategic solutions for our clients.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Jose's experience is invaluable to the development of targeted creative communications programs for both English and Spanish-speaking audiences.

Jose is a member of AIGA, Designers Accord, San Diego Chamber of Commerce and is involved in multiple non-profits in San Diego. He has worked with technology, life sciences, financial, and non-profit and higher education institutions all over the U.S. and Mexico. He enjoys nature, architecture, and photography.
