Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Gordon was itching at the chance to
escape and explore. His first chance came in college. Gordon started his
college career at Cal Poly SLO as an Electrical Engineer then moved into
Architecture. But after several years, he found his true calling as a
Graphic Designer and graduated from Sacramento State University. Since
graduating, Gordon has worked in all facets of design from in-house
design studios to Ad Agencies and everything in-between. His clients
have ranged from educational to corporate design, such as Northwestern
University, the Association of College Unions International, Equity
Residential, Upper Deck Entertainment and Sony. From Sacramento to
Chicago, Gordon now calls San Diego home.
Gordon's overall education has transformed him to become both analytical
and creative. He prides himself on quick and intuitive design solutions.
His inspiration stems from a love of classic Americana and modern
Japanese design. His passion for typography has resulted in constant
challenges in the game "Guess That Font". He is also a sucker for old
wood type and little pug dogs. Gordon loves to impress people with his
craft skills, and swears he can build just about anything out of
nothing. Whether it's creating folder mockups, building 3 dimensional
foam-core structures, or even producing a 7-foot tall gingerbread man
costume, Gordon's imagination is boundless.
