San Diego native Adam Jones first tapped the keys of an Apple II at the ripe old age of 4 and has remained captivated by the tools of the digital age ever since. Likewise, the human condition became a consistent fascination during his youth, expressing itself in everything from the songs he wrote for his punk band in high school to his chosen course of study during college. After graduating with a Psychology degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!), Adam returned to America's Finest City and entered the Social Work field. During the next couple of years he learned the ins and outs of coordinating recovery plans using city, state and government resources and received a firsthand education in the empathy, patience and good humor necessary to meet a client's treatment goals.
Though this career path proved truly rewarding, Adam ultimately desired a different set of challenges and was fortunate enough have the opportunity to get involved with interactive marketing. Using the medium of the internet as a tool to solve human problems proved to be a fantastic occupational fit, and he eventually became the Director of the Web Development and Marketing Team for a number of sites.
Adam's move to Project Manager at JTCG is the perfect culmination of his past work experience and represents the marriage of his passions for that which is digital and that which is human. He views project management as akin to a Jazz ensemble creating a work of art through talent, improvisation and a common goal; the result of which becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Needless to say, we're glad he's decided to make beautiful music with us.
