The invites went out to our friends and clients and we had a nice turn out for a fun evening. Over 90 people showed up…most likely because of the open bar…and came to party. We thank Island Sports and Spirits in Coronado for really coming through with great food and drink as well as a great DJ. We’re really happy that we could get everyone together to celebrate 2008 and the great year we had. We also toasted to the great things to come in 2009 and really the best part of the evening is the fact that I only barely made an ass out of myself rather than TOTALLY doing it.

I really have to thank my most amazing staff for all of our 2008 victories and being a part of my team. So thank you JASON, JESSICA, GORDON, ADAM, COLE, JAMES, and a special thanks to CINDY for planning the entire event and making sure it went flawlessly.

We hope everyone had a great time, made some cool connections, hung our with cool people, ate, drank, and especially enjoyed the “real time” t-shirt screen printing and you got some cool shirts. We are looking forward to continuing all of our client relationships next year and an even better party!

When we work with our clients, we always strive to continue to market and network for brands beyond any print or Web design
that we may create and deliver.

One example was helping to deliver Dr. Wizard to College Magazine. Joe Webb created a blog called “Dr. Wizard” geared to college students who were seeking advice online on all topics. We think it’s a great niche and love Joe’s writing style. The partnership for College Magazine includes inclusion of exclusive articles posted on www.collegemagazine.com. In return, College Magazine is mentioned on the Dr. Wizard blog which is currently receiving about 1500 unique visitors daily. We feel it is a great match for College Magazine as Dr. Wizard has signed a book deal which will surely increase his exposure, as well as our clients.

University News in St. Louis, Missouri recently published an article about the blog and I was interviewed for the piece.

College Magazine is a print publication on the East coast with currently a small distribution of 40,000 magazines to Universities and Colleges in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
