XTERRA WETSUITS Email Campaign kicked A$@

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

When XTERRA WETSUITS chose us as their agency of record and to be responsible for the development of their 2009 campaign, we were extremely pleased. It seemed to be a great fit. We liked the product, there was an opportunity to be creative and add some energy and excitement to their collateral, and most of all there the challenge of increasing sales.

The XTERRA WETSUITS team had not been used to working with an agency and really wasn’t sure of what to expect…especially if they would see ROI for the dollars they were spending with Jacob Tyler.

One of the first tasks was to create an email campaign (see reduced screen shot below) to increase sales in the off-season. Well…we were extremely excited when after 48 hours of sending the email blast we created, they had already surpassed click through and conversion of any campaign they had done previously.

Why am I writing this? Well..the client was so excited that they sent us video that they had actually filled 2 UPS trucks with product, a particularly remarkable accomplishment in the off-season, furthermore as the email was sent so close to Thanksgiving. We are happy for them and look forward to help build the XTERRA WETSUITS brand big time in 09!

Believe it or not, we have many clients that we haven’t met…both national and international. We often get asked about working in San Diego and where our offices are and what they look like. Thus, we have created a Flickr account (long overdue) to show off our space and more. Moving forward we will post photos of all of our events and anything you may (or may not) be interested in. Check back often and check us out on Flickr.

San Diego’s most admired CEO in 2008!

Les Kollegian

Well…not really. But it looked good for a second didn’t it?

On Tuesday night, November 18, some of the JTCG staff were invited to the San Diego Marriott for San Diego’s 2008 Most Admired CEO Awards. Why? Well, I was nominated. Why was I nominated? I have no idea. I just come in every day and do my daily projects with a great team of people who obviously put me up for the award. I guess that makes me happy because I love knowing that the people I work with love working with me. As any business owner, CEO, VP, or HR Manager knows… it is good people that make a business great. Trust me. Good people are EXTREMELY hard to find. It has taken me 2 solid years of searching, interviewing, and testing to find the design team at Jacob Tyler and I can’t be happier. They are all great and help me enjoy coming to work each day and my job.

I am honored to be chosen as a finalist and congratulate the other finalists and winner at being great at what they do.
