The Big Book Of Layouts: Over 2,200 submissions were received for Harper Collins new book "The Big Book of Layouts" and Jacob Tyler was chosen as one of 20 case studies for the publication. The expected publication date is May 2010 and the book will be 384 pages, hardcover with jacket. Jacob Tyler's submission "Peace Love and Open Bar" will be featured in the "Cards & Invitations" chapter. The book will feature excellent layout designs from around the world, in a variety of categories including brochures, menus, calendars, magazines, posters, and more.
CREATIVITY 38: The latest volume in the lavishly illustrated Creativity series, the premier annual showcase for outstanding graphic design from around the globe will be distributed internationally by Crescent Hill Books and Harper Collins in early 2009. Jacob Tyler is excited to have been selected by a jury of our peers as a 2008 Creativity 38 Platinum Award Winner for our print design of the Trader Vics Las Vegas Menu System.
Big Book of Logos 5 is the fifth Big Book of Logos book by David E. Carter, and ad agencies and marketing firms throughout the world use it as a reference tool to inspire brainstorming sessions and stimulate graphic design ideas. Jacob Tyler submitted 30 logos, competing against 10,000 other entries. Only 2,500 entries actually are chosen every year to be included in the prestigious book. Needless to say, all 30 JTCG logos were chosen for publication. :-)

Jacob Tyler has three published logos in this book that include University Thongs, Cocchia Clothing, and Vastardis Capital Services.
Really Good Packaging Explained, will be distributed internationally by Crescent Hill Books and Rockport publishers in the Summer of 2009. Each of the 350 package designs selected for the book have been critiqued by industry leaders. These author critiques are succinct and specific, and focus on overall design unity, materials used, effectiveness and in some instances, shape and individuality of the packaging. Jacob Tyler's Self Promotion Holiday Mailer was chosen as a sample of a successful packaging campaign.
